ABORTION

Pre abortion Questions & Answers

For many women, it is a life changing event with significant physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences. Most women who struggle with past abortions say that they wish they had been told all of the facts about abortions.

What can I do about people pressuring me? Remember NO person will be required to live with the consequences of this decision as much as you will. If your boyfriend or parents are pressuring you to make a quick decision, explain your needs to try to involve them ion counseling to explore your positive options. You have the right to continue with your pregnancy. No one can make you get an abortion, not even your parents.

Post Abortion Facts

Hurting From a Past Abortion?
If you are hurting from a past abortion, then you may be suffering from Post Abortion Syndrome. PAS is a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder commonly experienced by women who have had one or more abortions. It is an event out of the ordinary that results in stress, trauma, and long-lasting effects until the event is resolved. Through denial, a woman blocks the natural grieving process of the death of her child and often denies her responsibility in the abortion. She is unable to grieve or to name the loss.
